The Archives is the sole source for appraisals and letters of authenticity regarding the works of Milton H. Greene. We offer as a service, background history and information about prints that people may have in their collection. We identify whether the prints are legitimately made by Milton Greene – or copies that have been distributed illegally.

On our website we discuss the history and value of the Circle Gallery Silkscreens. We request that customers give us all of the following information so that our efforts and energy are not wasted. If you want to know the value of your print, please do not make believe you’re trying to buy a new one. Just be frank with us and tell us all of the information that we need to be able to research your actual print.

Needed information:

  • Digital copy of the print (small JPEG is best) emailed to prints @ archiveimages.com
  • Digital copy of any information that appears on the back of the print (i.e., stamp, date, signature and wording of the stamp)
  • Size of the print
  • Condition of the print – if there’s any discolorations, damaged corners, cracks or if it is in mint condition
  • Any history you may have ie: where it was purchased, or was it received as a gift

With this information, we can begin to do the research. We normally charge between a $15-$200 filing fee based on the amount of work that needs to be done. Many times when information is presented to us in a clear and simple fashion, we are able to give you the history and a current market value of what the print may be worth.
