This limited release book, "Milton's Marilyn," tells the intimate story of the five-year relationship between Milton H. Greene and Marilyn Monroe. Written by James Kotsilibas-Davis and directed by Milton's son, Joshua Greene, the book also contains 214 images all of which were digitally re-mastered and most of them published for the first time.
Their friendship begins with the first cover Milton took of Marilyn for Life Magazine and continues to tell how Milton gallantly fought 20th Century Fox to release her from her slave contract. They then partnered to create one of the first independent production companies -- Marilyn Monroe Productions, Inc.
For the first time, Marilyn would have script, director and edit approval. Marilyn Monroe Productions produced "Prince and the Showgirl" and "Bus Stop."
